- Shri Ranglal Jamuda, IAS, Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, New Delhi visited Jamnagar KVs on 10th Jan-2009 along with Assistant Commissioner, KVS (AR), Shri NR Murali.
- Republic Day Celebrations was done. Chairman, VMC, Cmde B.R.Taneja, presided over the function, Mrs Sunita Taneja distributed the sweets to children.
- KVINS Valsura celebrated Grand Parents Day on 31-1-2009.
- Vidyalaya Surprise Inspection was conducted by Shri ML Gedam, Education Officer, KVS, Ahmedabad Region on 19th Feb 2009.
- Education Excursions: 100 Children of Class I and Class II visited Ranjit Sagar Dam on 27th Feb 2009 and above 150children of Class III to V visited Aradhana Dham on 28th Feb 2009.
- Third Quarter CMP Review Committee: Principal's and HMs of Jamnagar Cluster at Valsura on 7th March 2009 attended it.
- Cubs & Bulbul Utsav
Sir Baden Powel's Birthday is celebrated as the Cubs and Bulbul utsav. It was celebrated in the Vidyalaya for 02 days on 20-02-2009 and 21-02-2009 (Friday and Saturday) at the VIdyalaya level.
Following competitions were held on 20-02-09:
Rangoli Competition for Bulbul/s (Class 3 to 5) and
Drawing competition for cubs (Class 3 to 5)
On the next day on 21-02-09 the Cubs and Bulbul utsav started with Scout flag hoisting by the Chief guest followed by the Bulbul prayer, Salutation and presentation of Scarf to the Chief Guest Shri Rohitas Kumar and Ms S Sundi Chief Guests of the day.
Colorful program including dance competition and poem recitation by cubs and bulbul was also organized and the program came to an end with Sarva Dharma Prathna.
- Report of community lunch on 16-2-2009
The students of classes 1st and 5th (section A and B) had a community lunch. Here they enjoyed lunch very much. They had lot of fun. They were very excited about the lunch. In the house they made a lot of preparations for different types of food. The students were made to sit in a circular way and they shared their lunch with every body this lunch not only was a source of fun but also make children learn lot of good values and knew that how to share the lunch with others. They also learned to maintain discipline not only in class but also in other places. Our teachers also shared own feeling with children and told some story at last we had a lot of fun. We hope to get such type of lunch program in future also.
- Annual Day was celebrated on 1 May 2009.
- Cmde A S Sethi , C O INS Valsura is the new Chairman of VMC
from 6th July 2009.
- First Unit Test of students start from 20 July to 25 July 2009.
- Report cards will be distributed on 29 -07-2009.
- PTA Meeting will be held on 31-07-2009. So , all parent in
respect of all class are requested to attend PTA Meeting.
