In 1972, when the Vidyalaya was established, it functioned in the accommodation provided by the Navy. From Sep 1980, the Vidyalaya is functioning in its own building constructed by KVS. The campus is spread over 6.5 acres of land including staff quarters. The Defence land at INS Valsura was taken by the KVS on lease at yearly rent of Rs. One.
There are 21 staff quarters, constructed in two phases - 1983 and 1987. The building is single store and has about sixty rooms of class rooms and departments. The Vidyalaya has a big children park under plastic sheet roof. |
